What about NSFAS? Does SAE offer?
Please note, NSFAS exists to provide financial aid to eligible students at TVET colleges and Public Universities. NSFAS does not exist for students entering Private Institutions. SAE Institute South Africa is a Private Institution, therefore NSFAS funding does not apply.
Option 3: EXTERNAL BURSARIES
*for Full-time and Online Learning students
What is a Bursary?
A bursary is financial assistance that generally does not need to be repaid, provided you meet the funder’s terms and conditions. Bursaries are competitive, you should apply for as many suitable bursaries as possible. Never wait for the outcome of one application before submitting another.
We encourage every student to apply for as many bursaries as possible. Begin with ZA Bursaries and also explore government departments, SETAs, corporate CSI programmes and educational trusts.
