How to work with the media as a creative
Apr 18 2018 | 18:00 PM - 20:00 PM
We are tremendously excited about this next FREE evening workshop.
As a creative it is important to understand the thought processes and mechanisms of how the media works, should you wish to gain exposure as an artist.
Hosted by Campus Director, Trenton Birch, who is an artist himself, the panel consists of two active musicians with a plethora of knowledge in the industry; MaJozi and David Scott from The Kiffness.
They will be joined by Natasha Goosen from One-Eyed Jack, a PR company known for its commitment to the promotion of artists and events and Craig Stack from MyCityByNight, an online media channel that taps directly into youth culture.
Who should attend?
Artists and creatives who wish to gain a better understanding of how to gain exposure from the media and what qualifies one’s creative output to be newsworthy enough to be featured.
Independent creators of music, film or any other form of artistic creative output will benefit from attending.
