After working in the IT industry as a Software Programmer for several years, David McLaughlin decided to follow his passion into Animation. David now works as 3D Visualiser on various engineering projects.
Cara Gately works as Character Technical Director at Iloura Studios in Melbourne (Ted 2, The Great Gatsby, Mad Max Fury Road). Her expertise is technical character and vehicle rigging. She has recently worked on ‘Prometheus’.
Alex is currently the FX Technical Director at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Vancouver, having worked for studios both in Australia and overseas. His credits include ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’, ‘Walking with Dinosaurs 3D’, ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’, ‘The SpongeBob Movie’, ‘Gods of Egypt’ and the hugely successful ‘Lego Movie’. His next project for Sony Pictures is ‘The Angry Birds Movie’.
